Seasonal Vaccinations – Spring 2025

Patients can receive their COVID Spring Booster from 1 April 2025 until 17 June 2025.

Our clinic 12th April is currently full. We will update if we are able to source additional vaccine to run another clinic. DON’T WORRY – you will be still be offered a vaccination appointment through the National Booking Service from 25th March 2025 for vaccination AFTER 1st April 2025.

HOUSEBOUND – eligible patients on our Housebound Register as of 15th March 2025 have been automatically referred to the Devon Vaccination Outreach Team who will contact you to offer a spring booster vaccination at home.

COVID-19 Boosters

COVID-19 vaccination is an important part of protecting yourself if you’re at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19.You may be able to get a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine this spring if you’re at increased risk from COVID-19 or depending on your age.

Who is eligible?

If you are over 75 and have not had COVID booster within the last 3 months, you will be eligible for a COVID booster. If you are immunosuppressed and at-risk you are likely eligible.

Eligible groups this Spring

  • adults aged 75 years and over
  • residents in a care home for older adults
  • individuals aged over 6 months and in a clinical risk group (as defined in ‘immunosuppression’ section of tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book)

The eligibility is the same across the 4 nations of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

The vaccine should usually be offered no earlier than around 6 months after the last vaccine dose. If you are eligible, you can get protection from an autumn COVID-19 vaccination even if you have not taken up a COVID-19 vaccine offer in the past. How do I book?

We are sending out invites to people who are eligible and will be offering a large clinic in April. If you are eligible and have not received your invite by the end of March, please contact us to get booked in.

Housebound Patients

If you meet the criteria and are on our current housebound register. We can refer you to the Devon Outreach Team to have your vaccinations at home.
