Lisson Grove and Woolwell Medical Centres is a thriving two site practice in Plymouth. Permanent Role:

We are expanding our clinical team and now wish to recruit a salaried GP looking for four or more sessions a week to join our 8 strong GP team. We are very flexible about the background of the GP we recruit. You may be newly qualified that we would support through further development or an experienced practitioner. You may be looking for the next step in your career or for progression into Partnership or anything in-between. We have the luxury of flexibility and our prime concern is to find the most suitable candidate for the role and a role that fits the candidate. We offer the standard BMA model contract which includes six weeks annual leave plus one week of study leave to be used as you see fit and a competitive sessional rate.

Practice Nurse – Maternity Cover
Location: Lisson Grove and Woolwell Medical Centres
Hours:  Part Time
Start Date: TBC
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are a well-established, busy and growing GP Practice operating from two surgeries with a friendly and supportive team of 40+ staff. (GP Partners, Clinical, Admin and Patient Support teams).

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly GP surgery team on a part time maternity cover basis. This is a key role within the clinical team and we are looking for someone confident and competent in delivering high-quality care in a busy general practice setting.

We are currently looking to cover a small number of remaining hours on a part-time or ad hoc basis, as the majority of sessions have now been filled.

Essential requirements:

• Current NMC registration
• Experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery
• Trained and experienced in the delivery of routine treatment room duties including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and chronic disease management

Desirable:

• Independent prescriber (not essential)
• Confident and competent in the management of respiratory long-term conditions (not essential)
